Thunder Bay Police Lay Charges in Domestic Incident

Thunder Bay Police report that “A man in possession of a pellet gun has been charged with Possession of a Weapon Dangerous and Uttering Threats following a domestic dispute yesterday afternoon.

A 29 year old Thunder Bay man is alleged to have uttered threats during a domestic dispute at an Egan Street residence at approximately 4:30 p.m. on July 10, 2014. There were no injuries and the male was reported to be in possession of a handgun.

The male fled the scene and was located a short time later in front of a residence in the 200 block of McIntyre Street. Uniform Patrol officers surrounded the location and were able to take the man into custody just after 5:00 p.m. A pellet gun was seized following a search near the original incident scene.

The accused remains in custody. He cannot be identified to protect the victim’s privacy since this was a domestic incident.
