THUNDER BAY – The freezing rain has claimed the last weekend of the ski season at Loch Lomond. The ski resort reports, “Due to the drastic change in weather over the past 24 hours, Loch Lomond has unfortunately decided to cancel the final weekend (April 5 & 6) with The Neebing Roadhouse and Dominion Motors due to the heavy ice conditions on the hill.

The forecast for cold weather all week will not remove the high levels of ice. Our safety is always our number one priority for our customers and staff.

“We would like to thank everyone for coming out this year, hope you have a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing everyone next year,” states Ward Bond.
