MISSANABIE, ON – On November 15, 2013 at 12:30 pm the Superior East Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wawa Detachment were advised of a house fire on Fournier Street in Missanabie.   The home was fully engulfed and spreading to two neighbouring seasonal homes. 

WAWA OPP were advised further that one female party was not accounted for. 

The Wawa Fire Department attended the scene and extinguished the fire. 

The OPP requested Ontario Fire Marshall attend scene as well.

On November 16th, 2013 during scene examination, a body was located in the residence. 

At this time no name is being released pending identification of the deceased at a post mortem to be held in Sudbury on November 19, 2013.
