THUNDER BAY – The essence of winter fun in Northern Ontario is the many outdoor activities that people participate. Skating, sliding, skiing, or just a walk in the brisk outdoors that leaves your cheeks all rosy red are a massive part of the Canadian experience.

The snowfall on Friday led to the joy of the weekend with the opening of ski runs at Loch Lomond. But across Thunder Bay people were out enjoying the winter wonder.

NNL’s Lynda Henshell was out on Saturday capturing some of the fun that fellow residents were having as winter returned to our city.
