Crimebeat – Explosion at a home in the 800 block of St. Clair Avenue being treated as suspicious

THUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – Thunder Bay Police have declared that the explosion at a home in the 800 block of St. Clair Avenue is being treated as suspicious. The investigation into the October 18th house explosion on St. Clair Avenue is continuing with the Criminal Investigations Branch working with the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office.

Thunder Bay Police are continuing to examine scene evidence and are conducting follow up interviews.

Police state “This investigation will take time to complete. The 57 year old man who was injured in the explosion is being treated for his serious injuries at a hospital in Toronto”.

The damaged house is no longer being held by police.
