THUNDER BAY – Shy-Anne Hovorka is a singer songwriter from Thunder Bay Ontario. Shy-Anne has been nominated for multiple awards this year in the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards.

Shy-Anne Hovorka’s Street Team spokesperson Nathan Ogden says, “We would LOVE to see Shy-Anne win!”

Ogden is asking people across Northwestern Ontario to help.

Shy-Anne says, “In the Best Country Album and Entertainer of the Year categories, I am up against Country Music Icon Terri Clark. It is a tremendous honour to be ranked with Clark. It would be extra special to win, but to do so I need your support.”

The process is as follows;

From August 13th to September 2nd You can vote online. Go to and sign up for an account if you do not already have one.

  • Best Music Video (Too Young, Too Late);
  • Best Album Cover Design

If you have voted in the past, at you will need your original email and password – Sign in and vote!

If you are a new voter, click on ‘Sign Up’. You will receive a PIN # and Password in the email account inbox that you
entered in the signup form.

Go back to and click on ‘Log In’ and type in you PIN and Password and then you’re good to vote. Note: check your junk mail file if you do not receive the email right away. It usually only takes a few seconds.
