Shy-AnneTHUNDER BAY – It has been a summer of online voting. Perhaps it is great practice for this October’s election. Shy-Anne Hovorka is nominated for several awards in the Native American Music Awards. The NAMA or “The Nammys” are an ultimate celebration and national awards show of music honoring the outstanding achievements of today’s leading Native American artists.

This talented Northwestern Ontario musician is the 2010 Female Aboriginal Entertainer of the Year.
