With the final days of the election upon us…” Wolffe

THUNDER BAY – With the final days of the election upon us, I’ll continue to knock on doors talking to residents, asking them what their concerns are and what they would like to see for the future of our city.  I’m of the belief, how a candidate runs their campaign, will be how they conduct themselves on city council.

Aside from the many residents I have visited in their homes, I have held open houses at the North End Recreation Centre and Chartwell Select.  As a service to Current River Ward residents, I invited all the At-Large and Mayoral candidates to share their views along with mine at these meetings.  For those candidates who attended, I thank them all for their participation, support and encouragement.  The successes of any initiative I may bring forward will be as a result of good teamwork and diversity.

I’m glad to say the campaign between Councillor Foulds and myself has been a good one.  There was no name calling, just a comparison of ideals and a lot of lawn signs.  My only regret was that there were no public forum for just Current River Ward candidates in this election.

Nevertheless, Current River Ward residents will decide who will best represent them on Oct. 25th.  The success of my campaign will be as a result of everyone’s input and support.  It will be my commitment to achieve these ideals, if I’m your representative for Current River Ward.

Andy Wolff

Candidate – Current River Ward Councillor
