Thunder Bay Chill Open Season on the Road

The Thunder Bay Chill open the 2010 Premier Development League (PDL) regular season this weekend on the road against the Kansas City Brass. The Chill faces the Brass on Friday night in the first of three games in three days on the road for the Chill. The team moves on to play the Rochester Thunder on Saturday and Sunday in Rochester, Minnesota.

“We open the season with a bang this weekend, and it is important we start things off on the right foot,” said Chill Head Coach Tony Colistro. Colistro is optimistic with his team facing three games in three days; “Our preseason training has us ready to handle this type of competition, and we want to send a message to the rest of the league.” The game against the Brass kicks-off at 9:00 p.m. (EDT) on Friday, June 4th, 2010, at William Jewel College in Kansas City, Missouri.

After Friday’s game, the Chill will travel to Rochester to face the Thunder in a two-game series, with the first game on Saturday, June 5th, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. (EDT), followed by the second game on Sunday, June 6th, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. (EDT). The two games will take place at Rochester Technical Community College.
