SIOUX LOOKOUT – WEATHER – A low-pressure system coming north from Wyoming in the United States will impact the weather in Sioux Lookout – Savant Lake region. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 cm are likely. The Red Lake area will be near the northwestern edge of the storm.

Winter storm watch in effect for:

  • Sioux Lookout – Eastern Lac Seul

Significant snowfall likely Monday into Tuesday morning. Blowing snow Monday night into Tuesday.

Snow is expected to develop overnight and will likely become heavy on Monday. Blowing snow will develop late Monday.

The snow is expected to become lighter Tuesday morning, however, blowing snow may continue most of Tuesday.
