THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – Riders in sixteen race classes competed  on Saturday in Northwestern Ontario’s 3rd race of 6 in the 2015 Motocross season.  The KBMX Motocross track, just past Kakabeka Falls, hosted the Superior Dirt Riders event in which riders 8 yrs old and under in the 50cc class, right up to the 40+ veteran class, entertained a decent spectator turnout.

The mainly sunny day kept the track dry, while distant thunder showers provided a threatening backdrop for all those in attendance.

The next competition takes place on July 11th at the KBMX track, with the 5th and 6th events out of town in Emo and Atikokan to wrap up the season.

Riders must compete in 4 of the 6 races to qualify for year end trophies.
