Thunder Bay – WEATHER – The Victoria Day Long Weekend will bring a little bit of everything across Northern Ontario’s remote First Nation communities — from warmer spring sunshine to periods of rain, gusty winds, and cooler temperatures returning by Sunday and Monday.
Communities along the James Bay and Hudson Bay lowlands will stay cooler overall, while inland communities farther south will see brief spring warmth before unsettled weather returns.
Ogoki Post / Marten Falls First Nation
Marten Falls heads into the weekend with improving conditions Friday afternoon and a pleasant Saturday before clouds return Sunday.

Neskantaga / Fort Hope
Fort Hope will experience a more unsettled pattern through the weekend.

Fort Severn remains the coldest region in the forecast area as Hudson Bay continues to influence temperatures.

Saturday: Partial sunshine with brisk northwest winds. High around 6°C.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain or wet snow showers overnight.
Monday: Cool and cloudy with temperatures near 4°C.
