TB25032317 – Police Seize Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and Hydromorphone; Suspect Arrested
Thunder Bay – NEWS – A southern Ontario man faces multiple drug trafficking and proceeds-of-crime charges after a Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) investigation led to a major seizure of suspected illicit drugs worth more than $200,000.
The TBPS Intelligence Unit identified a suspect during an ongoing investigation, obtaining a warrant. On Wednesday, August 13, members of the Intelligence Unit—assisted by the TBPS BEAR Unit and the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service Intelligence Unit—located and arrested the accused.
Police report seizing:

700 grams of suspected methamphetamine

500+ hydromorphone tablets

$19,000 in Canadian currency
The drugs’ estimated street value is over $200,000.

Court Proceedings
