Kenora OPP investigate fatal single-vehicle crash on Redditt Road; closure and detours in place

KENORA, ON — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Kenora are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision.

Police say that on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers from the Kenora OPP Detachment, along with Kenora Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), responded to a crash on Redditt Road.

The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Authorities have not released the name of the driver pending notification of next of kin. Please respect that posting images of the scene, or condolences on social media because you know, is discouraged. Allow the process to move along its protocol.

Investigation Ongoing

The OPP say the North West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team and OPP collision reconstructionists are assisting with the investigation.

Road Closure and Detour

Redditt Road remains closed between Highway 17A and James Road. Motorists are being advised to detour via Carleton Road and Anderson Road.
