We’re looking ahead to the weather for Kenora, Dryden and Vermilion Bay, Sioux Lookout, Pickle Lake, and Fort Frances from Thursday, October 30th through Sunday, November 2nd.
Thursday:
A calm but cool start to the day across the northwest. Expect a mix of sun and cloud, with light southwest winds developing by afternoon.
Highs around plus 5 to 7, with temperatures dropping to minus 4 overnight. A few lingering flurries may brush through northern areas like Pickle Lake before skies clear late in the evening.
Friday, October 31st – Halloween:
A great day for travel — and trick-or-treating!
Expect mainly sunny skies for most of the region, with light winds and highs near plus 8 in Kenora and Fort Frances, and around plus 5 in Dryden and Sioux Lookout.
Skies remain clear into the night, but bundle up — lows dip to minus 5 inland.
Saturday, November 1st:
Another bright, quiet day to kick off November.
Sunshine continues for much of the region, though clouds will begin to drift in from the west late in the day.
Highs range from plus 7 to plus 9, with light winds and a mild evening ahead.
Sunday, November 2nd:
Clouds increase across the northwest, with a few scattered showers or flurries possible by late afternoon, especially around Kenora and Fort Frances.
Sioux Lookout and Pickle Lake will stay mainly cloudy and cool.
Highs around plus 6, with lows near zero overnight.
