Kenora OPP Respond to Altercation Resulting in Injuries
WHITEDOG FIRST NATION, ON – A 38-year-old woman from Whitedog First Nation is facing serious assault charges following an altercation that left one individual injured.
Incident Details
On March 8, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Kenora OPP officers responded to a reported assault on Main Road in Whitedog First Nation. Upon arrival, officers interviewed multiple individuals and determined that a woman had assaulted a victim with a weapon, resulting in minor injuries.
Charges Laid
Following the investigation, Melissa Miuchaud, 38, of Whitedog First Nation, has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with:
✅ Assault with a weapon
✅ Assault causing bodily harm
Court Appearance
Miuchaud has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on March 14, 2025.
