Rainy River OPP Arrest Eight in One-Day Blitz

Rainy River District – In a recent one-day operation dubbed “Project Return,” the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and North West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), apprehended eight individuals.

This initiative focused on ensuring individuals released from custody were adhering to their release conditions and apprehending those with outstanding warrants.

Those arrested face a range of charges including:

  • William Hulme (58) of Rainy River: Fail to Comply with Release Order (x2), Criminal Harassment (x3), Causing Unnecessary Suffering to an Animal.
  • Stella Wall (46) of Fort Frances: Unlawfully in Dwelling, Assaulting a Peace Officer, Obstruct Peace Officer.
  • Stephen Baker (43) of Fort Frances: Driving While Prohibited.
  • Elizabeth Boshkaykin (27) of Fort Frances: Assault.
  • Peter Atkinson (34) of Fort Frances: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (x2), Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
  • Ryan Bell (32) of Fort Frances: Assault, Assault with a Weapon.
  • Diane Perreault-Kasper (27) of Fort Frances: Mischief.
  • Kristian Jourdain (22) of Manitou First Nation: Theft Under $5,000.
