Winnipeg, MB: In a disturbing case involving child pornography, Winnipeg police have arrested a 45-year-old man following the discovery of numerous anatomically correct dolls designed to resemble children.

The investigation began in August 2024 when the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) in Vancouver intercepted a suspicious package headed for Winnipeg. The Winnipeg Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit was notified and initiated an investigation.

On August 29, ICE investigators took possession of the package and confirmed its contents included a sex doll anatomically designed to look like a pre-pubescent child.

A suspect was identified, and further investigation revealed that between October 2023 and August 2024, the suspect had ordered several similar items. A search warrant was obtained.

On September 4, the search warrant was executed at a Fort Richmond residence. Approximately 20 anatomically correct female dolls ranging from newborn to early teens were found, along with clothing and accessories intended for the dolls. Some of the dolls had been physically altered.
