25-Year-Old Charged with Two Counts of Spousal Assault Following OPP Investigation

DRYDEN, ON – The Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment have arrested and charged a 25-year-old individual in connection with an assault incident on September 8, 2024.

OPP officers responded to a call at approximately 4:00 p.m. at a residence in the City of Dryden.

Following their investigation, the individual has been charged under the Criminal Code with two counts of spousal assault. The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on October 7, 2024.

To protect the identity of the victim, the OPP will not be releasing the names of those involved.
