A look at seven statistical highlights from games played during the 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. ET windows on Sunday, Dec. 3, the 13th week of the 2023 season.

  • With two games remaining in Week 13, eight of 11 games (72.7 percent) have been within one score (eight points) in the fourth quarter, with seven games having been decided by one score.This season, 71 percent of all games (135 of 191) have been within one score (eight points) in the fourth quarter.

    The INDIANAPOLIS COLTS overcame a 10-point deficit to defeat Tennessee, 31-28, in overtime to improve to 7-5 this season. The Colts have won four consecutive games, the longest active win streak in the AFC.

  • San Francisco quarterback BROCK PURDY passed for 314 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions for a 148.8 rating, running back CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY had 133 scrimmage yards (93 rushing, 40 receiving) and one rushing touchdown and wide receiver DEEBO SAMUEL had 138 scrimmage yards (116 receiving, 22 rushing) and three touchdowns (two receiving, one rushing) in the 49ers’ 42-19 win over Philadelphia.Purdy has four games with at least three touchdown passes and a passer rating of 140-or higher this season, tied with TOM BRADY (2007) and AARON RODGERS(2011) for the most such games by a quarterback in a season in NFL history.

    Purdy has five career games with a passer rating of 140-or-higher, the most such games by a player in his first two seasons in NFL history.

    McCaffrey has 50 rushing touchdowns and 27 touchdown receptions in his career and joined Pro Football Hall of Famers MARSHALL FAULK (100 rushing touchdowns, 36 touchdown receptions) and LENNY MOORE (63 rushing touchdowns, 48 touchdown receptions) as the only players in NFL history with at least 50 rushing touchdowns and 25 touchdown receptions.

    Samuel is the fourth wide receiver since 2000 with at least 100 receiving yards, two touchdown receptions and one rushing touchdown in a game, joining CHASE CLAYPOOL (Oct. 11, 2020), DAVID PATTEN (Oct. 21, 2001) and JAVON WALKER(Nov. 5, 2006).

  • The MIAMI DOLPHINS improved to 9-3 this season with a 45-15 win over Washington as wide receiver TYREEK HILL recorded 157 receiving yards, including touchdowns of 78 and 60 yards, and rookie running back DE’VON ACHANE rushed for two touchdowns.Miami has 25 touchdown passes and 22 rushing touchdowns this season and is the third team since 1970 with at least 25 touchdown passes and 22 rushing touchdowns in its first 12 games of a season, joining the 1998 DENVER BRONCOS (26 passing, 22 rushing) and 1975 BUFFALO BILLS (25 passing, 22 rushing).

    Hill has 1,481 receiving yards this season, the most receiving yards by a player in his team’s first 12 games of a season in the Super Bowl era and is the fifth player in NFL history with at least 1,400 receiving yards in his team’s first 12 games of a season, joining CHARLIE HENNIGAN (1,541 receiving yards in 1961) and Pro Football Hall of Famers ELROY “CRAZY LEGS” HIRSCH (1,495 in 1951), LANCE ALWORTH (1,428 in 1965) and CALVIN JOHNSON (1,428 in 2012).

    Hill has 16 career games with at least 150 receiving yards, tied with Pro Football Hall of Famer JERRY RICE (16 games) for the second-most such games by a player in his first eight seasons in NFL history. Only Pro Football Hall of Famer LANCE ALWORTH(17 games) has more.

    Hill is the fifth player in NFL history with five games of 150-or-more receiving yards in a season, joining Pro Football Hall of Famers TIM BROWN (1997) and JERRY RICE(1995) as well as ANTONIO BROWN (2017) and ROY GREEN (1984).

    Hill has 11 career touchdowns of at least 75 yards, tied with DANTE HALL (11 touchdowns) for the fourth-most touchdowns of 75-or-more yards in NFL history. Only DEVIN HESTER (14) and Pro Football Hall of Famers OLLIE MATSON (13) and BOBBY MITCHELL (12) have more.

    Hill has 21 career touchdowns of at least 60 yards tied with DEVIN HESTER (21 touchdowns) for the third-most touchdowns of 60-or-more yards in NFL history. Only DESEAN JACKSON (26) and Pro Football Hall of Famer JERRY RICE (23) have more.

    Achane has nine touchdowns (seven rushing, two receiving) this season, tied with Pro Football Hall of Famer GALE SAYERS (nine touchdowns) for the second-most touchdowns by a player in his first six career games in NFL history. Only Pro Football Hall of Famer ERIC DICKERSON (10 touchdowns) had more.

    Achane is the fifth player in NFL history with multiple rushing touchdowns in three of his first six career games, joining Pro Football Hall of Famer ERIC DICKERSON, BILLY KILMER, BILL PASCHAL and CURT WARNER.

  • Tampa Bay wide receiver MIKE EVANS had seven receptions for 162 yards and one touchdown in the Buccaneers’ 21-18 win over Carolina.Evans has 61 receptions this season and is the first player in NFL history with at least 60 receptions in each of his first 10 seasons.

    Evans has 1,012 receiving yards this season and is the first player in NFL history with at least 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first 10 career seasons.

    Evans joined Pro Football Hall of Famer JERRY RICE (11 consecutive seasons from 1986-96) as the only players in NFL history with at least 1,000 receiving yards in 10 consecutive seasons.

    Evans has 11 career games with at least 150 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown, tied with TORRY HOLT (11 games) and Pro Football Hall of Famer RANDY MOSS (11) for the fourth-most such games by a player in his first 10 seasons in NFL history. Only Pro Football Hall of Famers JERRY RICE (19 games) and CALVIN JOHNSON (13) as well as TYREEK HILL (13, in his eighth season) have more.

  • Houston rookie quarterback C.J. STROUD passed for 274 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions for a 106.1 rating in the Texans’ 22-17 win over Denver.Stroud has 3,540 passing yards this season and surpassed JUSTIN HERBERT (3,467 passing yards) for the third-most passing yards by a player in his first 12 career games in NFL history. Only PATRICK MAHOMES (3,912) and ANDREW LUCK (3,596) had more.

    Stroud has eight games with at least 250 passing yards this season, tied with ANDREW LUCK (eight games in 2012) for the second-most such games by a rookie quarterback in NFL history. Only JUSTIN HERBERT (12 games in 2020) has more.

  • Detroit rookie tight end SAM LAPORTA recorded nine receptions for 140 yards and one touchdown in the Lions’ 33-28 win over New Orleans.LaPorta is the fourth rookie tight end in NFL history with at least nine receptions, 140 receiving yards and a touchdown reception in a game, joining Pro Football Hall of Famers MIKE DITKA (Nov. 12, 1961) and JACKIE SMITH (Oct. 13, 1963) as well as PETE MITCHELL (Nov. 19, 1995).
  • Tennessee running back DERRICK HENRY rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns and wide receiver DEANDRE HOPKINS had five receptions for 75 yards and one touchdown on Sunday.Henry has 18 career games with at least 100 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, tied with Pro Football Hall of Famer EMMITT SMITH (18 games) for the fourth-most such games by a player in his first eight seasons in NFL history. Only Pro Football Hall of Famers LADAINIAN TOMLINSON (24 games) and JIM BROWN (21) as well as SHAUN ALEXANDER (19) have more.

    Henry has 86 career rushing touchdowns, tied with Pro Football Hall of Famer ERIC DICKERSON (86 rushing touchdowns) and ADRIAN PETERSON (86) for the fifth-most by a player in his first eight career seasons in NFL history. Only Pro Football Hall of Famers LADAINIAN TOMLINSON (126 rushing touchdowns), EMMITT SMITH (112) and JIM BROWN (89) as well as SHAUN ALEXANDER (100) have more.

    Henry has eight rushing touchdowns this season and is the sixth player in NFL history with at least eight rushing touchdowns in six consecutive seasons, joining Pro Football Hall of Famers LADAINIAN TOMLINSON (nine seasons), JIM BROWN (seven) and EMMITT SMITH (seven) as well as ADRIAN PETERSON (seven) and MELVIN GORDON (six).

    Hopkins, who is 31 years and 180 days old, has 12,072 career receiving yards and became the fourth-youngest player in NFL history to reach 12,000 career receiving yards, trailing only Pro Football Hall of Famer RANDY MOSS (30 years and 306 days), JULIO JONES (30 years and 317 days) and LARRY FITZGERALD (31 years and 77 days).

    Hopkins has 903 receptions in 157 career games and tied BRANDON MARSHALL (157 games) as the fifth-fastest player to reach 900 career receptions in NFL history. Only ANTONIO BROWN (143 games), Pro Football Hall of Famer MARVIN HARRISON(149), ANDRE JOHNSON (150) and JULIO JONES (153) reached the mark in fewer games.

    • Philadelphia quarterback JALEN HURTS had passed for 298 yards and had two touchdowns (one passing, one rushing) in Week 13.Hurts has 38 career rushing touchdowns, trailing only CAM NEWTON (75), JOSH ALLEN (47), Pro Football Hall of Famer STEVE YOUNG (43) and JACK KEMP (40) for the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in NFL history.

      Hurts has 16 career games with both a touchdown pass and a rushing touchdown, tied with DAUNTE CULPEPPER (16 games) and KYLER MURRAY(16) for the third-most by a player in his first four seasons in NFL history. Only CAM NEWTON (24) and JOSH ALLEN (20) have more.

    • Los Angeles Rams rookie wide receiver PUKA NACUA had four receptions for 105 yards and one touchdown in the team’s 36-19 win over Cleveland.Nacua has 1,029 receiving yards this season and is the sixth player in the Super Bowl era with at least 1,000 receiving yards in his first 12 career games, joining ODELL BECKHAM JR. (1,305 receiving yards in 2014), JUSTIN JEFFERSON(1,039 in 2020), ANQUAN BOLDIN (1,032 in 2003), Pro Football Hall of Famer RANDY MOSS (1,014 in 1998) and MARQUES COLSTON (1,001 in 2006).

      Nacua has 77 receptions this season and is the third player with at least 75 receptions in his first 12 career games in NFL history, joining ODELL BECKHAM JR. (91 receptions in 2014) and JAYLEN WADDLE (77 in 2021).

    • Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver KEENAN ALLEN had five receptions for 58 yards in Week 13.Allen has 102 receptions this season, tied with JULIO JONES (102 receptions in 2015) for the third-most receptions by a player in his team’s first 12 games of a season in NFL history. Only MICHAEL THOMAS (110 receptions in 2019) and Pro Football Hall of Famer MARVIN HARRISON (109 in 2002) had more.

      Allen is the sixth player in NFL history with five career seasons of 100-or-more receptions, joining ANTONIO BROWN (six seasons), BRANDON MARSHALL(six), LARRY FITZGERALD (five), ANDRE JOHNSON (five) and WES WELKER(five).
