SANDY LAKE – WEATHER – Environment Canada has issued a snowfall advisory for parts of Northern Ontario including Sandy Lake, and Deer Lake.

Expect heavy snowfall from this evening until Saturday morning, which may cause hazardous conditions.

Anticipate a total snow accumulation of 8 to 15 cm, leading to reduced visibility due to the heavy snow. Additionally, the snow may mix with ice pellets tonight, making it more difficult to travel. The snowfall is expected to gradually decrease to flurries by Saturday morning.
