Fort Frances: Joshua PARDY Faces Attempted Murder Charge

FORT FRANCES – NEWS – A Fort Frances man, Fort Frances: Joshua PARDY has been charged with Attempted Murder after an incident in Fort Frances.

OPP report that on June 14, 2022, shortly after 7:00 am CDT, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Rainy River District Detachment responded to an assault outside a location on Fifth Street East.

Officers located an individual with life-threatening injuries who was transported to hospital for medical treatment by Rainy River EMS.

As a result of the investigation at the scene, Joshua PARDY, age 30 of Fort Frances, was arrested and charged with Attempt Murder, contrary to Section 239(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.

The accused was remanded into custody and appeared before an Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on June 15, 2022.
