There is also a washout on Highway 599 one kilometre south of Pickle Lake. Apparently the new Airport Road is also not passable, it is very soft and appears to be degrading as the ground warms up.

Rainfall and flooding has a number of roads in the region impacted.

There remains a Flood Warning in effect for Fort Frances, and with more precipitation in the forecast there could be more problems.

Road Closures

In the City of Thunder Bay, River Street north of Algoma remains closed due to a sinkhole.
