FORT FRANCES – WEATHER – A low pressure system over the Prairies will bring rain to portions of Western Ontario on Sunday. The frozen and saturated ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall. Rainfall, combined with melting snow, is expected on Sunday.
Another round rain is expected midday Monday into Monday evening, with an additional 20 to 30 mm of rainfall possible.
Rainfall warning in effect for:
- Fort Frances – Emo – Rainy River
- Seine River Village – Mine Centre
Rainfall amounts of 15-25 mm are forecast for Sunday.
