May 6, 2022 – 300 Active Cases of COVID-19 / 90th Death in District

COVID-19 Update

THUNDER BAY – COVID-19 Update – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting 146 new cases of COVID-19 today. Those are lab-confirmed cases. This brings the total number of lab-confirmed active cases to 300 in the district.

There has also been the 90th death related to the virus in the district.

There are 61 patients in hospital. Of that total there are five patients in the Intensive Care Units.

There are 14 Active Outbreaks in High-risk Settings
