December 30, 2020 – Thunder Bay District Health Unit Reports One New COVID-19 Case

Thunder Bay – COVID-19 – Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 1 (one) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 75. However the Health Unit is reporting one more death from the virus.

The total number of deaths in the region now stands at 19.

The new case is a result of close contact.

Across Ontario, there are a total of 178,831 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ontario reported to date.

Compared to yesterday, this represents an increase of 2,923 confirmed cases (percent change of +14.5%)

There were 19 deaths (percent change of -53.7%). There was also an increase of 2,237 resolved cases (percent change of +0.2%).
