Canada Update on Global and Domestic Response to COVID-19

OTTAWA – International Development Karina Gould and Procurement Minister Anita Ananda provide an update on Canada’s global and domestic response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This update comes as the first shipments of COVID-19 vaccines arrive in Canada.

Several provinces are expected to begin administering the Health Canada approved Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine this week to frontline health-care workers.
