Police Seek Public Help for Investigation into August 30 Homicide

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police are asking the public for information that could assist investigators in the homicide of 31-year-old Christopher David Meeseetawagesic.

The homicide, the eighth in 2020, puts the total one above the 2019 total number of murders.

The location where Meeseetawagesic’s body was found has been released by police following the completion of the post-mortem examination.

The Thunder Bay Police Service was originally dispatched to an area in the 400 block of Main Street just after 10:10 am EDT on Sunday, August 30, 2020, after a passerby called 911 about a possible body in the area.

A post-mortem examination took place in Toronto on Wednesday, September 2, 2020
