KENORA – At 5:33 am CDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts and up to toonie size hail.
A severe thunderstorm is located 5 kilometres east of McGinnis Creek, moving east at 35 km/h.
Hazard: 90 km/h wind gusts and nickel size hail.
Locations impacted include:
McGinnis Creek, Gameland, Bergland, Cozy Corners and Harris Hill.
Another severe thunderstorm is located 20 kilometres south of French Portage, moving east at 45 km/h.
Hazard: 90 km/h wind gusts and toonie size hail.
Locations impacted include:
French Portage and Naongashing.
