KENORA – Environment Canada has updated their weather advisory for Kenora and region to a Snowfall Warning.
Snowfall warning in effect for:
- Kenora – Grassy Narrows – Whitedog
- Sioux Narrows – Nestor Falls – Morson
Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.
Significant snowfall is expected this afternoon into Saturday.
Snow is expected to move into the area this afternoon and become heavy at times tonight as a low-pressure system approaches. The snow will continue Saturday before tapering off to flurries Saturday night. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm are likely in some areas.
