THUNDER BAY – The Ontario Provincial Police advise that Highway 17 from about 20 kilometers east of Nipigon is closed. The closure happened just before 4:00 p.m. EST on Monday.
Ontario Provincial Police says that this highway closure is the result of multiple vehicles stuck on the roadway due to weather conditions.
Snow had been falling along the north shore, with heavy snow reported at Cavers Hill and Pays Plat.
