KENORA – Weather – A wet Saturday is in the forecast for the Kenora region. Environment Canada has issued a weather advisory for the region this morning at 08:53 AM CDT.
Special weather statement in effect for:
- Kenora – Grassy Narrows – Whitedog
- Sioux Narrows – Nestor Falls – Morson
- Ear Falls – Perrault Falls – Western Lac Seul
- Red Lake – Woodland Caribou Park
Showers and thunderstorms will continue to soak the region today
with total rainfall amounts of 15 to 30 mm likely in many areas. A few locally higher rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm are also expected due to the thunderstorms.
Poor driving conditions from low visibility in downpours are expected tonight.
