Sioux Lookout OPP Seek Public Help in Solving Break and Enter

SIOUX LOOKOUT – The Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have requested assistance from the public to assist in solving a break and enter in a private residence.

On Thursday, June 27, 2019, between the hours of 6:00 am and 2:00 pm, unknown suspect(s) entered a private residence on Drayton Road. The unknown suspect(s) walked through the residence and entered the bedroom, went through their nightstands and stole approximately $1,000 in Euros, $300 USD and 5 $20,000 bills of Colon (currency from Costa Rica) valued at about $230.00 Canadian.

The unknown suspect(s) then left the scene with the stolen currency. The investigation is continuing.

The OPP request anyone with information about this incident to call Sioux Lookout Detachment at 807-737-2020 or 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
