Kenora OPP Arrest Drug Dealers

KENORA – Dealing with illegal drugs is one of the major battles that the OPP an other police agencies are fully engaged in doing. In Kenora, the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) have charged eight individuals with drug related charges following an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the City of Kenora.

OPP report that on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at approximately 9:00 am, police executed the arrests in the area of Norman Drive.

As a result of their investigation, police located approximately 12 grams of Methamphetamine, Hydromorphone and other items associated with the drug trafficking trade. The street value of the drugs is estimated to be approximately $4,500.   

As a result of this investigation, the following have been charged:

Kaitlynn BURKE, age 27 from Kenora

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) X 2
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 Criminal Code of Canada
  • Veronica COPENACE, age 25 from Kenora
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) X 2

Harley MCLEOD, age 30 from Kenora

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) X 2
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Trafficking in Schedule 1 Substance- Methamphetamines (Crystal Meth) (CDSA)

Stephen WILLIS, age 38 from Kenora 

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) X 2

Ethan COPENACE, age 29 from Kenora

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)

  Anita NECANAPENACE, age 33 from Kenora

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Methamphetamine under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)

Kalvin PIERCE, age 24 from Kenora

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Methamphetamine under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) 

Caitlynn SKEAD, age 26 from Kenora

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Methamphetamine under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)

MCLEOD is to appear in bail court on Thursday, May 30, 2019. The other accused are to appear in Kenora Court on June 27, 2019 to answer to the charges.
