Arrest Made in Homicide Death of Lee Vincent Chiodo

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police Service have arrested a suspect in the homicide of Lee Vincent Chiodo.

Forty-eight-year-old David Hui was charged in the death of Choido. HUI appeared in Thunder Bay District Court on Saturday, March 3, 2019. HUI is facing charges of murder and kidnapping in the death of Chiodo.

Thunder Bay Police Service issued a statement on February 28, 2019, along with a video of a suspect they reported as a person of interest. As of Sunday, March 3, 2019 TBPS have not issued any updates on the case.

On February 24, 2019, Thunder Bay Police Service received a call from a person on Mission Island today about a body discovered by 108 Avenue. Police suspect that the body discovered, that of a Caucasian male described as in his forties is the victim of a homicide.

The investigation is likely ongoing.
