Power Outages Shut Schools in Rainy River

The electrification of the north will make economic sense for the region.

Rainy River – Due to power outages in the west end of the District, Rainy River High School, Riverview School, McCrosson-Tovell School, and Sturgeon Creek School are CLOSED to students.

There is no update for power restoration for the schools.

There are also 700 customers impacted by a power outage in the Minahicho area off Highway 619. The expected restoration time is 3:45 pm CST.
