The Thunder Bay Border Cats Baseball season has come to an end with a win
The Thunder Bay Border Cats Baseball team is in local ownership hands.

THUNDER BAY – SPORTS – The Thunder Bay Border Cats are proud to announce that the Northwoods League franchise has been purchased by Grand Slam Sports & Entertainment Inc.  The new ownership group consists of 20-plus local owners, who have invested to keep the Border Cats in Thunder Bay.  The ownership group would like to thank the loyal Border Cats fans for the support, dedication and patience through this process and we are looking forward to the 2019 season and the years to come.  A special thank you also goes out to the group of local investors for their support and vision in this venture.

The Border Cats will be announcing a new field manager, general manager as well as ticket packages and corporate sponsorship opportunities in the coming weeks and a reminder that opening night at Port Arthur Stadium is Tuesday, May 28th at 7:05 pm versus the Duluth Huskies.

Fans are invited to attend a special pre-season party with the new ownership group on Saturday, January 5th from 1:00 to 2:30 pm at Sleeping Giant Brewery.
