Freezing Rain its possible in Ontario's Far North

THUNDER BAY – Freezing drizzle is making roadways and sidewalks slippery tonight. The conditions are expected to taper off overnight.

Conditions are also slippery east of Thunder Bay.

Freezing drizzle advisory in effect for:

  • Thunder Bay
  • Cloud Bay – Dorion
  • Kakabeka Falls – Whitefish Lake – Arrow Lake

Areas of freezing drizzle are expected or occurring.

Freezing drizzle is falling over much of the area and will persist this evening before tapering off overnight.

Untreated surfaces may be icy and slippery.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.
