STONEY CREEK, ON — Josee Robinson earned her second straight shutout of the Stoney Creek Midget AA Showcase Saturday afternoon with a 1-0 win over the Waterloo Ravens, amassing 27 saves. Mackenzie Lehto scored the lone goal on a setup from Jessie Scott and Kendra Fortin. That evening the Sportop Queens would suffer their first loss of the tournament dropping a 4-1 decision to the Greater Vancouver Comets. Lucy Newman’s unassisted goal was all the Queens could muster in this game.
The Queens will play Etobicoke on Sunday at 1:25 pm.
