Kenora OPP Seek Robbery Suspect

KENORA – The Kenora Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Kenora Community Street Crime Team are investigating a report of a robbery at a business on Ninth Street North in the City of Kenora.

Police were advised that at approximately 4:20 am, on February 27, 2018, an unknown male wearing a ski mask entered the business and pointed a pistol type firearm at the employee and demanded money. The suspect then fled the scene and police were notified. Members of the Kenora OPP with the assistance of the Northwest Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) searched the area with negative results.

The suspect is described as male, approximately 20 years old, dressed in dark clothing, around 5’8″, slim build, with white shoes and white runners, carrying a backpack.
