Christmas is a season to stop and reflect and support each other

THUNDER BAY – Trinity United Church at 30 South Algoma Street is holding a very special Christmas Eve candlelight service this Sunday evening beginning at 9 p.m. All are invited to what we’re calling The Most Wonderful Night of the Year.

This will be a service of Christmas readings and carols and music featuring Canadian tenor Justin Stolz, currently an artist in residence with the Atlanta Opera. Justin will sing “Oh Holy Night”.

Justin will be joined by the Cosbey family musicians in a series of pieces including O Little Town of Bethlehem, Hark the Herald Angels Sing and See Amid the Winter’s Snow.

For those with young children, Trinity will also be hosting a Christmas party for Jesus in the afternoon of Christmas Eve starting at 4:30 p.m. It will include some entertaining films and a participation play where the children will dress up and put on a performance of the Nativity Scene.
