NIPIGON – WEATHER – The weather service is calling for snow on Tuesday for the north shore of Lake Superior along with rain to precede the snow.
Special weather statement in effect for:
- Marathon – Schreiber
- Nipigon – Rossport
Total snowfall amounts of 5 to 15 cm are expected on Tuesday.
Rain will begin overnight tonight, and will change to snow at times heavy early Tuesday morning. Snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are expected, with lower amounts of 5 cm further west towards Nipigon and Beardmore. North winds gusting to 60 km/h will also result in local blowing snow producing reduced visibilities.
Snow will come to an end Tuesday evening.
