Frost advisory in effect for tonight and into the early morning hours

THUNDER BAY – Weather – Cool temperatures seem to be arriving early. Environment Canada has issued a Frost Warning for much of the southern parts of Northwestern Ontario including the City of Thunder Bay and the outlying areas.

The weather service says that “An Arctic high pressure system will settle over Northern Ontario tonight. Under clear skies and light winds, temperatures will dip to near the freezing mark for a few hours overnight into Friday morning.”

Frost advisory in effect for:

  • City of Thunder Bay

Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.

Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
