Twenty KG of Marijuana Seized and $400k in Assets Seized

THUNDER BAY – CRIME – Thunder Bay Police are reporting on a significant amount of drugs being taken off the streets of the city. In a media release, TBPS state:

“On the afternoon of Friday the 23rd of June 2017 officers with the Thunder Bay Police Intelligence Unit executed four separate Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrants in both the North and South sides of the City.

“As a result more than 20 kilograms of marijuana was seized with a street value of approximately $400,000 along with a variety of assets including two motor vehicles and two motorcycles.

“Facing a variety of charges in regards to drug trafficking are Tyler CARRUTHERS 32 years, Ronald LAVIA 28 years, James MAROZZO 34 years and Kevin PEARCE 39 years all of Thunder Bay.”
