Police Make Arrest in Stabbing Incident on North Vickers

THUNDER BAY – CRIME – Jonah Lawson Yellowhead is in custody following a stabbing incident on North Vickers Street in Thunder Bay South.

The twenty-two-year-old male faces charges in connection with an altercation that occurred in a residence in the city’s south side on June 21, 2017.

Thunder Bay Police responded to a 911 call and discovered two injured persons at an apartment in the 300 block of Vickers Street North just before 6:30PM EDT on Wednesday night. A twenty-three-year-old female and a twenty-six-year-old male remain hospitalized for treatment of their injuries.

Yellowhead has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault. The accused was taken into custody the morning of June 21, 2017 for a bail violation. Further investigation by Thunder Bay Police lead to the charges of Aggravated Assault.

Jonah Lawson YELLOWHEAD’s next court date is June 27, 2017.
