Homicide Deemed Cause of Death at Marks and Arthur

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police report that the results of the post-mortem on the body of a male found at Marks Street and Arthur Street have confirmed that the individual died as a result of the trauma.

That trauma was received in an altercation just prior to being located on Monday May 22, 2017.

Thunder Bay Police, as stated in a media release,  are continuing to work with the Coroner’s office to assist in positively confirming the identity of the deceased male.

The area of Marks Street at Arthur Street remains under control of the police at this time.

This homicide investigation is ongoing and the TBPS is urging anyone with information about this incident or any suspicious activity, person or vehicle in this area on Monday, May 22, 2017 between 4:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. to contact the police at 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.tipsubmit.com.
