No Foul Play Suspected in Death of Woman

WABIGOON – On March 25, 2017, at approximately 5:25 pm, community volunteer searchers located a deceased female near Chomitsa Trailer Park in Wainwright Township.

A post-mortem examination took place on March 29, 2017, at the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-OFPS) in Toronto. The deceased has been positively identified as forty-three-year-old Emily BROWN.

At this time police do not believe any criminal act led to the death of Emily BROWN. However, police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and death.

Anyone who may have seen or been in contact with Emily BROWN on or after Friday, March 17, 2017, is asked to contact the Dryden OPP at (807) 937-5577 or the Provincial Communications Center at 1-888-310-1122.
