School Fire Safety Award Goes to Sherbrooke Public School

Thunder Bay Fire RescueTHUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Fire Rescue Deputy Fire Chief Dave Paxton presented this year’s School Fire Safety award to Sherbrooke Public School Principal Robin Tabor- John today. The award recognizes the school and respective principal that have shown leadership and commitment to promoting and practicing Fire Safety to a high degree.

“Thunder Bay Fire Rescue hopes these awards encourage continued support and implementation of fire safety practices in other schools,” said Deputy Fire Chief Dave Paxton. “Principal Tabor-John and the rest of the staff and students at Sherbrooke School provide a great example to all schools and institutions in the community. Making the correct decision in an emergency situation under challenging circumstances demonstrates a commitment to student safety.”

Thunder Bay Fire Rescue wishes all students a safe and enjoyable summer.
