Summer Beaver, ON – Chief Johnny Yellowhead and his community will be welcoming David Suzuki to Nibinamik First Nation for a community visit on May 28 and 29, 2016.
Chief Yellowhead will be giving David Suzuki a community tour and will provide an opportunity for members to meet and converse with Mr. Suzuki. He will also be visiting sacred sites, visiting with Elders, tour facilities and homes in the community. They will also be discussing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on October 15, 2014 between Nibinamik First Nation, the David Suzuki Foundation, Mamow Ki-ken-da-ma-win and Ryerson University.
