THUNDER BAY – Five photographers from Thunder Bay won awards in Lake Superior Magazine’s 21st annual Lake Superior Photo Contest. Their images were among those honored from a field of nearly 1,300. The top winners were announced in the February/March issue of the magazine and at LakeSuperior.com. Finalists are featured only online.
LOCAL WINNERS
Don Malcolm won Second Place in the Lake/Landscape category for his photo “Storm over Kakabeka.”
Three locals earned Honorable Mentions: Karen Ramsdale in the Nature category, Lois Nuttall in People/Humor and Sarah Jane Lewis in the new Maritime category.
Richard Main was a finalist in the Lake/Landscape category.
